Welcome to Time2Staff! As a staff member on our platform, you're at the heart of what we do—connecting talented individuals like you with flexible job opportunities across hospitality in Scandinavia. Many of our staff members have already built amazing careers through the platform, and you can too!
But to succeed, there are a few important rules and practices you should always follow. These will help you land your first job quickly, get more shifts in the future, and make sure you receive the best ratings from customers.
Step 1: Build a strong profile
Start by creating an accurate, detailed CV. Highlight any skills, even if they're from school, volunteering, or hobbies. Be honest—employers value reliability over exaggeration. Upload a professional photo and complete your profile fully to stand out.
✨ Create a strong “About Me” section where you introduce yourself to workplaces. Briefly describe your goals on this platform, how your skills match the customers’ needs, and how this helps you reach your own goals. Write with confidence and professionalism.
🎥 You also have the option to create a short video CV. In the video, you can briefly introduce yourself, talk about the type of work you do, and share your experience. This is a great way to show your personality, skills, and motivation to potential customers.
Step 2: Applying for jobs
Always read the job description carefully
Before applying, make sure you:
Check the address and transportation. Can you get there on time? Is there public transport available both ways, especially if the job starts very early or ends late at night?
See if accommodation or transport is included. Long-term jobs sometimes provide these, but most short jobs do not.
👉 Only apply if you are 100% sure you can attend. This avoids cancellations and builds trust with customers.
Apply for jobs you are qualified for
Some jobs require training or experience (for example: kitchen, bartending, or technical roles). Others—like event crew, concerts, or festival jobs—do not require experience at all. Though your skills and ability to collaborate is important. Ask yourself: "What skills do I already have that could fit a job?"
Read the full description and onboarding materials: Every job post includes details—read them twice! Watch any onboarding videos for workplace insights, directions, and expectations. This builds confidence and ensures you're prepared.
If you’re unsure, start with jobs that are closer to your experience. Watch some videos and read about tips on how to suceed in different hospitality roles.
As you gain ratings and confidence, you can move into more advanced roles.
Remember: applying for jobs you’re not ready for often leads to rejection, while applying for the right jobs helps you get confirmed faster.
By following these, you'll reduce cancellations (which hurt your profile) and increase confirmations. We enforce a no-cancellation policy once accepted—commit only if you're 100% ready.
Step 3. How to get the best ratings ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Customers rate staff after each job. To achieve 5 stars (and earn bonuses), focus on:
On time – checked in punctually and never be late. One of the most common reasons staff lose ratings is arriving late. To get 5-star reviews, always:
Plan your route in advance.
Aim to arrive 10–15 minutes early.
Check-in on time.
Friendly and approachable – smile and keep a positive attitude.
Clothing and appearance – look neat, clean, and professional.
Accurate CV – only list experience you really have.
Prepare before each job to feel confident and ready:
Watch onboarding videos.
Read the full description so you know what tasks to expect.
Bring the right clothing and any required equipment.
The better prepared you are, the smoother your shift will be—and the more likely you’ll be invited back.
Teamwork and collaboration – support your colleagues and work well in a team.
High ratings = more job offers, better pay opportunities, and long-term success.
Never cancel after being approved
When you apply for a job, the customer expects you to show up. Cancelling causes big problems for both the customer and Time2Staff.
If you’re unsure, don’t apply or withdraw your application before it's confirmed.
Once confirmed, commit to attending.
Your reliability is one of the biggest factors in building your career on Time2Staff.
